Follow the instructions below to set up SmartSentry for remote web browsing as shown in the picture on the left

• Install either the Sami HTTP Server or Apache HTTP Server  (see our Resources menu for the links)
• Download our basic html files in the Pages.zip file by clicking here
• Important - make a note of the target folder you have chosen for the SmartSentry output files (In SmartSentry - Select File / Choose a Target folder)
• Unzip the pages.zip file and store the contents in the folder you have chosen to store the SmartSentry output
• Enable XML Generation on SmartSentry (In SmartSentry - Select Configuration / Advanced / Network / Enable XML Generation)
• In Apache or Sami Set the web root folder to the same folder you have chosen to store the SmartSentry output
• Make sure port 80 is open for outbound traffic on your broadband router and firewall
• Before testing from a remote location - check that you can view the pages on the hosting PC by browsing http://localhost
